Entrepreneur Decision Study

   This research was conducted by Benjamin V. Chatfield, in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Doctor of Management program at University of Maryland University College (UMUC), a member of the University of Maryland system. Mr. Chatfield began work in the doctoral program in winter 2005. His dissertation was accepted and he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Management in 2008.

   Dr. Chatfield has worked in technology and management since 1986, and at startups since 1999. He operates his own technology management firm in the Washington, D.C. metro area. His academic interests include entrepreneurship, management of technology, decision theory, and competitive strategy. Dr. Chatfield serves as an adjunct professor, teaching in UMUC's MBA and Doctor of Management programs.
